So Boxer dies! He was loyal and devoted and a real one from start to finish. Forget the windmill and them besting the humans and anything else, I just wanted him to retire.
It is upsetting that nothing changes in the end, the pigs were human and oppressors and yada yada the whole time, It hurts that Boxer and Clover and even Benjamin never saw a glimpse of what was promised for the rebellion.
Great writing, I am in Distraught over this. Suggest me another book please. Right now I am stating 1984 but want more suggestions.

The Ragged Trousered Philanthropists – Robert Tressell
Are you pissed because you loved it or hated it?
All Creatures Great and Small by James Herriot is about as far from Animal Farm as you can get and still have to do with animals.
Watership Down by Richard Adams. All about rabbits, who are very rabbit-like and also a bit anthropomorphic.
