I typically like to read Why Christmas Trees aren’t prefect to two groups of kids before Christmas break. Kinder-4th and then 5th through 8th grades. It’s a great book for going into the holiday, but has an amazing message about seeing things and thinking beyond surface impression.
It appears I’ve run out of time to read this book this year, so I’m on the hunt for a good book to read AFTER Christmas break to help remind children that the giving season isn’t over once the trees come down and the paper is all thrown away. Really any book that will help keep the spirit of giving unique the holidays alive once all the buildup and excitement have passed.
I would appreciate any suggestions!
Thanks!
