looking to find some suggestions for classic vegetarian cookbooks I can choose from for my 24 y.o. daughter for christmas. we've always eaten a wide variety of ethnic, vegetarian and lacto-vegetarian meals (my kids can't eat dairy without issues) over the years and I know she'd appreciate whatever I choose. she's an inspired and talented cook and baker, not a beginner.
the first vegetarian cookbook I bought for myself was mollie katzen's iconic moosewood cookbook (in the hardback edition) decades ago. I've had many veitnamese, chinese, north african, madhur jaffrey's indian, filipino, carribean, south american and regional US cookbooks, but they were stolen from me many decades back so I can't pass them down to her.
should I go with a moosewood theme and get her a couple, or are there others I should consider as well? general cooking/joy of cooking/julia child type "classic" cookbooks aren't really her style, as she's a fairy advanced cook.
