She reads at age level. She likes the Cuticorns books by Shannon Penney. I'm looking to expand her reading beyond that. Thank you for any suggestions!

Warrior Cats. There are graphic novel versions of some of the books if you think she’d prefer that.

    2. Harriet the Invincible by Ursula Vernon. Harriet is a hamster princess cursed to prick her finger on a hamster wheel on her 12th birthday and fall into a long sleep. She realizes that makes her INVINCIBLE until then and rides off on her trusty riding quail to have adventures. Tons of illustrations and several books in the series.

Also Beatrice Potter’s books–Peter Rabbit and all the rest.

And check out the Flower Fairy illustrations by Cicely Mary Barker.

The Menagerie by Tui T Sutherland. A lonely kid finds a secret zoo of magical creatures. And they have hand drawn simple pictures of all the creatures so she can have a template to draw her own versions
