I just read The Fire We Carry: The Generations-Long Fight for Justice on Native Land by Rebecca Nagle, and was blown away (enlightened, enraged, engaged, etc, included a review below*).

I want to read and learn more about lesser known history, especially of marginalized people, or the lesser known aspects of popular history, if that makes sense. I’d also like to learn more about Native American history and culture.

    Suggestions?

“In a fiery account as chilling as a legal thriller, Rebecca Nagle lays bare centuries of injustice in Oklahoma and the southeastern lands from which the American government exiled her ancestors and thousands of other Indigenous peoples. By the Fire We Carry is a clear and courageous call for justice.”
