Looking for a book where a victim deals with their abuser/wrongdoer facing little or no accountability

I'm dealing with something in life where I have to deal with people tolerating and excusing someone who acted horribly towards me. I'd like to read a book about someone's journey in overcoming this type of situation. Any range of themes is ok with me.
