Hi Guys – I don't post much on Reddit but I'm looking for help. I'm a huge reader normally (read over 200 books last year)
I'm a 39 and was widowed early this year. For months I couldn't read at all and reading truely was my escape. I have PTSD from my husband's passing. This year though I have been unable to pick up a book and read. I'm talking 1-2 pages and I stop. I also have a huge anxiety about starting a new book.
I seem to have been ok with audiobooks but both physical books and ebooks I cannot seem to read and I don't know if this is some slump I cannot get out of or just my brain being done.
Any suggestions? I've changed format and genre a few times I'm typically a fantasy or romance reader with the odd mystery/thriller book
I'm open to any suggestions I miss being able to loose myself in the pages of a book
