Favorite Books to Recommend Me. (Suggest me a book)

Hi everyone! I hope everyone's having a good day. I would like to have some of you guy's book recommendations, since I honestly can't find any books that I like very much. For context, my favorite author is Ruth Ozeki and my favorite book is A Tale for the Time Being. I read a lot of genres, so feel free to drop any recommendations, whether it'd be crime fiction, literature, smut or fantasy, I'm all ears. Thanks! 🙂

EDIT: Bonus points if it's sad and contains themes of (tw) su!c!de. But it has to be represented in a way that isn't too heavy, like the main character doesn't care about themselves and perceives their life as nothing. This is just a little personal preference, if you have any other books that you think is extremely good, please recommend them, thanks!
