I’m a huge fantasy/sci-fi nerd and love reading, but I want to work and am also currently working on my second novel. While the novel is in a fantasy setting, I want to incorporate some elements of thriller, as the story has some spy/political elements, plus I want to expand my reading horizons a bit, so I have decided to look for maybe 2-3 books to read and learn a bit about the genre. Do you have any recommendations? Especially some that would be considered classics/the best of the best would be helpful.
