Yes it’s still 2024, but I figured on the off chance my library doesn’t have the book that everyone picks that I should get this recommendation now to put in an inter library loan request (with library’s closing for the upcoming holidays and not getting books shipped in on the weekends, if I order it now, it will probably be ready for pick up around January 1st.)
Anyway, the only rules I have for this is that the book must be fiction. If the most upvoted comment is a book I have already read, I’ll go down to the second, third, fourth, whatever comment until I find one I haven’t read yet. I did this same type of post for 2024’s challenge, and the winner was Dawn by Octavia Butler.
It’s about 3:40 my time, setting an alarm now to check back in here tomorrow and see what the results are. Nothing’s off the table.
