Hey everyone,
As the title suggests, I’m in my 20s and it’s been quite a while—7-8 years—since I last seriously studied English literature. Back in school and college, diving into critical analyses of books played a huge role in shaping my worldview and philosophy of life.
Now that times have changed and adulthood has brought its own set of challenges, I’m looking for fiction that could shed light on life in adulthood. I’d love books that explore the struggles, beauty, and complexities of this phase and could offer perspectives or philosophies to navigate it better.
What are some novels or literary works that profoundly impacted you as an adult? I’m open to any genre, as long as it has depth and insight.
Thanks in advance!

*The Accidental Tourist* by Anne Tyler. It’s about a man whose son was murdered, after which his wife left him, and he’s trying to figure out how to live after all that. It’s not all sad, though: his family are some oddball characters, and he does meet someone who is completely “wrong” for him.
