Reading Just For The Summer, and I rolled my eyes at how stunningly beautiful they describe both of these leads. Are there any books, romance or otherwise, where the characters are described as fuck ugly? I want some representation for my people. I’m not joking, either.

I suggest Flannery O’Connor’s short stories. She had a penchant for creating ugly characters.
