I’m looking for novels with huge plot twists or unreliable narrators. Something that will make me pause the book, stare at the wall, and say “wow”.

    1. Babel by R.F. Kuang definitely did that for me. The first-half is more slow-paced and letting you discover how the world works, but let’s say that once the machine starts, it doesn’t stop!

    2. *Murder of Roger Ackroyd.* Can’t go wrong with Agatha Christie. Also *Murder on the Orient Express* and *And Then There Were None.*

There are a few short stories in a book called Melancholy by Danny Mouso that have pretty good plot twists, one of those stories is Another Life and We Met on the Mountain. It is currently free on Amazon (ebook edition) It’s a fun read that will lead you to question at times.

My Summer Friend by Ophelia Rue. Even knowing there’s a twist won’t help you see it coming.
