A book to get my bf into reading

Im a big reader and my boyfriend is (sadly) not 🙁 I’ve wanted to share this part of me with him for so long because I do think if he found the right book he would enjoy it.

I’m a big fantasy reader and would love to find a fantasy/sci fi that he would also love. Last year I had him read Red Rising by pierce brown, because I personally found them very addicting and fast paced, which I thought would be good for someone who hasn’t read for fun since childhood. Well, he read red rising and Goldon Son, but, but DNFed Morning Star. He said he enjoyed the first two but somehow lost interest in the third book😩

Hes a big anime person, Hunter x Hunter and Attack on Titan being his favorites. Maybe im stubborn and simply want him to read a fantasy or sci fi book because its what i find myself enjoying most, but considering his love for different kinds of fantasy tv shows and anime I’m fairly certain theres something out there he would enjoy.

Im lending him my copy of Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson and Poppy War by R.F. Kuang and seeing which one he likes best. But id also love to hear from you guys for any recommendations to get him into reading!!
