I'm in my thirties and got a gift certificate to a local bookstore for Christmas. The issue is, I haven't read for fun since high school, maybe even earlier, and I have no idea what to get. I've always loved fantasy and just fiction in general. I grew up in the Harry Potter generation and loved stories around magic and dragons (Eragon was one of my favorites). I also loved dystopian novels like Hunger Games, Uglies, and The Giver. I don't even watch TV or movies anymore, I mostly work and then come home, take care of chores, spend time with the family, and go to bed. Having something to read will be a nice change of pace.
Help me find a good book. I have always loved druidic magic, arthurian legend, norse mythology (honestly most mythology is fun), and pre industrial historical fiction (modern technology is boring, lol).
