    Hello,
I’ve always been curious about the works of Dostoevsky and Franz Kafka, but I haven’t read any of their books yet. Could you recommend a good starting point for each? For Dostoevsky, I’d love something that showcases his deep insights into human nature and his storytelling style. For Kafka, I’m looking for an introduction to his unique, thought-provoking themes.
Thank you in advance for your suggestions!

    1. I haven’t read enough Dostoevsky to make a recommendation, but Kafka has a number of short story collections that are a great way to see if he’s your cup of borscht. I find him a tad challenging but also really great, so try some short stories first would be my suggestion.

White Nights may be a good start for Dostoevsky – it’s much shorter than some of his other popular works and has a really beautiful writing style.
