my dad is healing from a car accident and is bored out of his mind, he hasn’t ever read an actual novel before, but he really likes action and comedy. so is there any books you can suggest for a first time reader who really likes things like john wick, kill bill, fast and furious and comedy movies?

Interesting challenge! Clive Cussler is like a modern day adventure novelist, but I think he needs a little patience for people who aren’t voracious readers. As for comedy, maaaaaybe Good Omens?
