I'm going to Krakow on holiday next year. The book doesn't need to revolve around Krakow or be an entire history. But I thought it would be nice to know a few tidbits about the history so I could look forward to seeing some places mentioned.
History books I've previously liked include: The Good Germans by Catrine Clay, lot of Ben Macintyre books, Homage to Catalonia by George Orwell.
