An acquaintance of mine doesn’t understand what should be said and what should be kept to ourselves. Additionally, this person doesn’t have any notion of boundaries. I believe he lacks imagination. Also, he is not someone who is into books.
It’d be great if someone can help me pick a book for him, so that our lives become easier 😅🙈

Hahah! This is so harsh. Maybe a book about neurodivergence? See if any of it resonated with them? Either that or How To Lose Friends and Alienate People?
He probably needs a therapist not a book 😂🤣
Why would you buy a book for someone who is not into books? You cannot change a person’s whole self with a single book.
This reads like a joke post. Someone who is so lacking in self-awareness will not be swayed by a book, and someone who isn’t into books won’t read it anyway.
Buying a book for someone who isn’t into reading means they’ll toss it in some dark corner and forget about its existence, they won’t appreciate such gift. If you and that person are truly just acquaintances and you’re not forced by circumstances to spend time with them then you could make each other’s life easier by not hanging out together. Just don’t talk with them, apart from hello and hi, and see u later etc. Some people don’t mix well together and that’s OK, no need to try and change them, it’s not your job.
Yeah this sounds like a recipe for disaster if this is a person you value, it sounds like they are ND and gifting something you know they’re not into might be impactful in a negative way (said as a ND person who would likely feel this way).
Consider being a decent human by **not** trying to fix someone especially by giving something you hope to fix them to make YOUR life easier.
