I have two 12 year old nephews and I’ve gotten the other kids books but I know preteen boys aren’t always into books and reading at that age. Suggestions on what to get them book wise? I know they’re interested in Pokémon and video games.

There are actually a lot of fun video game inspired books for middle grade readers. My daughter loves the Five Nights at Freddy’s graphic novels.

The Neil Peel books by Ben Dixon are very popular with even reluctant readers at my school. They’re full of relatable situations but are very funny (and very cheeky!). A boy who always tells the truth is the narrator. The Heroic Truths of Neil Peel is the first one.
