I really enjoyed the giver quartet by Lois Lowry. Ive also read part of the road by Cormac McCarthy, and will be reading the rest asap (i finally got my own copy!) I have never been huge on reading, but god these books did something to me. I'm also somewhat interested in books about current social and/or political issue, religion [Any] (Though important note, i am not religious) I also read a book on war leaders i really enjoyed.
Edit: Preferably no spice or romance. any reading level, well, not like kids books but that seemed obvious.
