Alright this may be an unpopular opinion but by why in the world does an author choose to change the perspectives in each book of a series. Like I understand and can appreciate when they add perspectives from different characters as long as I can still read from the first main characters POV. I just read Reign and Ruin by J.D. Evan’s and I really enjoyed the read, but the next book in the series has the same characters but it’s no longer from their POV. I’m tired of the “new couple per book” thing. One book is just enough time for a couple to develop. Need more for a real relationship.

Any recommendations on a fantasy series that sticks with the same main characters POV? Not picky with triggers but I’d like the main couple to be 20+ y/o. I like sexual tension, open door content, and even NSFW but not looking for erotica if you know what I mean. Thanks in advance! Already read Sarah J Maas books and enjoyed them.

    1. If you enjoy LGBT romance, i’d recommend the “Inheritance” series by AK Faulkner. It has a few perspectives but it always comes back to the main couple after a chapter or so. It is more urban fantasy based than Maas’s work is, though (as far as I understand, I still have to read Maas myself)
