So recently I read The Serpent and the wings of night and I really loved the ending where Raihn betrays Oraya and then In the end they get married and there is this angst where she hates him
I really want a book where the mmc betrays the fmc or the fmc feels some type of hostility towards the mmc and then they get married or in forced proximity and the fmc really hates it.
Any book where she's actively hating the mmc but then at the same time where the mmc is possessive and won't let her go so she plans behind his back. Something with a lot of angst and also is slow burn.
Like a scene where they are both are arguing with each other and there is this kind of yearning or angst between them.
Or like where they were lovers/friends previously and then the mmc betrays the fmc and she gets to know his identity/plans later on but then by that time she's already forced into proximity with the mmc.
I would like if the fmc is a strong mc and the mmc comes from a powerful position.
I am fine with any genre but mainly if it is something fantasy or supernatural/paranormal related.
