Hi y’all gave me some great suggestions on my last post so looking for more. I’m looking for books where there’s intense chemistry/sexual tension but for whatever reason, their romance is slow burn. Think Bones and Booth in the tv show bones, so I’d prefer if one of the reasons for the romance being so slow to actually happen is due to issues from neurodivergence or just generally being afraid of emotional intimacy and letting the other person in. Especially friends to lovers as they don’t want to ruin their friendship/partnership etc, and I’d also prefer university aged main characters but anywhere between 17-35 is fine! Any genre but fantasy/sci-fi is my favourite. Thank you:)
