Would love to kick off 2025 with a series. I like fantasy but I’m also happy reading other genres. I’m currently reading Spellshop by Sara Beth Durst and I would love something along the “reading a cup of hot cocoa” vibes but I’m ok if it’s a little more intense.
Never really read any series that weren’t fantasy so if you have any you love I’m open to them.
Around 5 books? 3-7 would be great.
I did all of Sarah J Maas already so no ACOTAR or ToG please.
I’m not super into smut, but I’m in my late 30’s and have given birth so it’s not like I don’t know these things work. I can tolerate it. But it’s not like a selling point either lol.
I love a good love story!
Really open to anything though as long as it’s not super blood and guts gory. I don’t do well with that type of thing.

Have you read Talia Hibbert’s “The Brown Sisters” series (romance)? I’m hoping to get to them next year and I’ve heard really good things about them! As for fantasy, (or romantasy, I guess), Deborah Harkness’ “All Souls” trilogy was my favorite last year.
