I’m doing a phd and it’s really burned me out from reading only technical journals and papers. I’d like an easy read to get me back into the practice. Books/Series I’ve loved in the past are:
The Westing Game
The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel
The Mysterious Benedict Society
Ready player 5
The Alchemist
Tillerman Cycle
Harry Potter
These are mostly YA novels. I’m not sure if that’s because I prefer them or haven’t really read for leisure since high school, so I’d take suggestions for any genre.
