I’ve been really enjoying books like Educated, Hillbilly Elegy, and We Are All Completely Beside Ourselves, and I want to know if other people know of similar books, where there is some kind of exploration into growing up in environments that aren’t always explored in popular fiction. I particularly enjoy those set in Midwest America, something very interesting about that culture (as someone living in England). Any setting is good, though, I’m interested in learning about any other cultures!
