For 2025, I'm challenging myself to start reading novels written in French in the original again. I'm looking for entertaining books written in the past 30 years that are NOT "great books" but also aren't children's books. Bonus points if the use of language is particularly inventive or fun. No preference for books from France vs. books from other Francophone countries.
I've read Camus and Le Petit Prince and Petit Nicolas. I'm looking for something more off the beaten path.
