Looking for a book that’s good to read to settle my mind before sleep. Not looking for slow/boring – I need an engaging story and characters I care about – but nothing super disturbing. Looking for books that focus on characters solving the story problems with choices based in kindness and compassion. Basically looking for like a warm hug in book form that will let me drift off to sleep feeling positive about humanity. Bonus points for LGBTQ characters.
