Hi! I'm interested in the way the way brains process information, how it affects our every day lives unconsciously and consciously, impacts our actions, what trauma does to the brain. So if you know any psychology books talking about all or any one of these things I would love to know

Psychology is not usually concerned with the physicality of the brain, that’s psychiatry and neurosciences.
Having said that, I recommend:
* The Compass of Pleasure, by David J. Linden. It explain how our brains respond to pleasure and how it might drive our lives.
* Human: The Science Behind What Makes Us Unique, by Michael S. Gazzaniga. It has a lot of information about how our brains work.
