Say your kids says “mama, why is my name Uncle Pumblechook?” Then you point them to Great Expectations and say “well if you want to know…”and BAM they love books forever.
So what character for that?
Basically what’s the one book that you’d toss at someone to trick them into a lifelong love of books but also a potentially good name. Like Uncle Pumblechook.

Maybe Pippi for a girl (Pippi Longstocking)
David (stories about Davy Crockett) for a boy?
Boy or girl, anything by Diane Wynne Jones
Sinjin (St. John) from Jane Eyre
Cletus. Everyone will assume they’re dumb, and they’ll have to overcompensate.
Also, is this a thought experiment or are you actually trying to name a child? If it’s the latter, you should probably just read to them a lot.
I’d be tempted to do this somewhat backwards….
Name your child something regular *but* introduce various age appropriate and inspirational nicknames (character names or tangentially related) as they hit different milestones and/or based on what questions they ask about the World/life/people etc.
That way, they’ll likely query the new names and get fresh excitement each time!
