And the husband feels insecure and his fragile ego feels threatened. Bonus points if they have a young child. More bonus points if the female character comes out of the situation happy.
Can be either fiction or memoir.
Many thanks!

The Echo Wife by Sarah Gailey. No child, but otherwise meets your criteria. This is fiction.
Breaking Through: My Life In Science by Katalin Kariko. This is a memoir. There’s no insecurity or fragile ego in her husband, at least from what she writes, but they did have a child and come out of the situation happy.
The woman they could not silence by Kate Moore. It is nonfiction. It is about a woman in the 1860’s whose husband had her involuntarily committed because she was smart, independent, and had her own thoughts. In other words, she wasn’t the dutiful wife who did everything he wanted. He punished her by locking her away and removing her from her kids. She fought back for her freedom and the freedom of woman as well against a country that at the time put little value in women.
Vinegar Hill by Manette Ansay
I don’t remember about education levels specifically.
