I have been searching for a very specific vibe for a while but I can never quite find it. I used TDFB as exemple because it's what's gotten closest. I love the male lead because he is kinda grumpy and begins kinda as her enemy, but then their relationship turns kinda I hate everyone except her and will protect her with my life. All this WHILE he is kinda of a beta male and she is the one commanding him (I absoutely ADORE the inuyasha vibes if you know what I mean), and the fact that he is not human is just a 10/10. And the fact that it is a slow burn is even better. I love the torture of the tensional between characters that are in love but just won't admit it – usually when the characters get together I tend to get bored.
In general, if I had to summarize I guess it's jist I hate the alpha male type, but absolutely adore grumpy and (arguebly) realiable man that would let the world burn for her.
I know it's a lot of things, but if someone by any chance has a good recommendation I would be super super grateful (fanfics are also super welcome :D!).
