I really liked The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern and my for active adolescent books were Tithe by Holly Black and the Dangerous Angels series by Francesca Lia Block.
Im not really interested in going too far into Holly Blacks writing style but I'm not above YA fiction.
I really value books that come in audiobook form, especially with unique narrators, because I work as a seamstress (and have problems processing/focusing on text in my downtime).
