I'm looking for a book series recommendation. I have read an enjoyed all the works of Brent Weeks, Brandon Sanderson, Christopher Ruocchio, Pierce Brown, Steven Erikson, Christopher Paloino, Tolkien, Ryan Cahill, Scott Lynch, and James Corey. I have read some of John Gywne but feel his books are too predictable and templated. I love a book with a conflicted main character, a good relationship arc, and most importantly in the Sci-Fi/Fantasy genre. Help me!

James Islington, especially will of the many
Robin Hobb
NK Jemisin
Octavia E Butler
Fonda Lee
RF Kuang
Adding some women to the list can help mix it up!
Also Joe Abercrombie for a male rec
Have you tried The Name of the Wind (The Kingkiller Chronicle) – Patrick Rothfuss – (Book 3 has yet to be completed but 1 and 2 are amazing)
Or try Clive Barker for a bit of dark fantasy – The Great and Secret Show (the first Book of The Art in the trilogy) or standalone Weaveworld
You haven’t even come close to running out of authors! Try N.K. Jemisin, Robin Hobb, Martha Wells, and Fonda Lee.
I will date myself a bit here but:
Tad Williams- Memory Sorrow, and Thorn (first book is The Dragonborn Chair)
Raymond E Feist – The Riftwar Saga (First book is Magician)
I like all these recommendations, but I highly suggest Dungeon Crawler Carl
Edit: I know it sounds stupid, and I didn’t read it for the longest time because of the title, bit it is my new favorite series.
Also! The Dresden Files.
Michael J Sulivan the Riyria books are great.
Mark Lawrence and if u like video games Dungeon Crawler Carl is fun.
