I’m looking for a good book that will help with mindfulness. I’m not talking about self help or anything about how to do meditation. But something that would help with mindfulness by going in depth about sensory things, like the touch of water, the smell of rain etc. doesn’t have to be about nature but that seems like it’d be most available. I hope this makes sense. Non fiction is preferred but anything is appreciated!

‘Walden’ by Henry David Thoreau might be something you want to check.
Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer
*Desert Solitaire,* by Edward Abbey.
“Migrations” by Charlotte McConaghy
It’s fiction, however, the writing is top notch. There are a lot of feelings going on in this book; both human and from nature
“Atlas of a Lost World” by Craig Childs
This one is nonfiction and, again, the writing is fantastic. His descriptions of nature really draw you in and take a pause.
