Looking for a book where the MC's life starts out normal and fine and then slowly it starts to unravel. Unravel in a way that is unreal. Either his life isn't real(much like the lamp story), different realities, he's being played by someone, paet of an experiment, etc.
Similar to Dark Matter, with less of a known cause. I'm looking for something where the MC is clueless as to what is happening around them.

I recommend these two a lot, because I love books with this vibe and these are my favorites: *Lakewood* by Megan Giddings and *Natural Beauty* by Ling Ling Huang. Both start off very normal and then go completely off the rails.
