I see this book come up almost all the time when someone asks about the best books they've read. And people comment like if it was the best thing ever written like El Quijote or Dante's divina comedia (I'm exaggerating for dramatic purposes).
Is it really that good of a book? Or is it more for people who enjoy Danielle Steel kind of books, and rom coms, and such? I've read the synopsis and it does not sound appealing at all, and it sounds cheesy.
Some of my top favorite books include 100 years of solitude, the old man and the sea, some by José Saramago, Isabel Allende, and even Agatha Christie.
Do you think I would like this book?
I know there's no better way than to just give it a try, but whenever I get close to it, I feel so uninvited haha.
Please give me your honest opinion if you've read it, and what other kind of books were your favorite?
