I'd love some novels about women going through divorce or separation. Self-help is okay, but I need to get lost in a story I can relate to. I'm thinking Kristin Hannah vibes, but maybe more comedic relief.
Or if there is a book that you feel saved you while going through this and it's not a novel, I would love to know about those as well.

I haven’t read it but Finlay Donovan is Killing It
Dragonflight(1968) and Dragonquest(1971) by Anne McCaffrey. Flight was published about 2 years prior to her divorce in 1970 and the romance subplot seems to me to be a reflection of her own experiences, though she kinda abandons it in the third part. Quest was less than a year after and seems to me to be some venting going on.
She also wrote some romance novels that may be more similar to what you’re looking for but I haven’t read those yet.
Not So Fun Facts. 1970 saw the ratification of No-fault Divorces and modern domestic abuse laws were only passed 1974-1993. So it’s kinda easy to surmise that those experiences were less than pleasant. Just in case you have any triggers.
