I'm looking for Memoirs of famous historical figures. Things like " Khrushchev Remembers" by Nikita Khrushchev, or "Inside the Third Reich" by Albert Speer. So basically anything by politicians, generals, or just some hidden gems from ordinary people. However, I would like to avoid memoirs by celebrities for the reason that they seem to tend to be ghost written. I'm more interested in personally written stuff. It's just been a Fascination recently to go back and read what these figures were thinking in the moment, or how they justify their actions.
