I really enjoyed Stephen Baxter's Vacuum Diagrams, despite how hard it was to read. I'm looking for some more sci-fi books that make you think in the same way, or are more about the concepts than the stories or characters. Vacuum Diagrams had 1-dimentional characters and a kinda lack-luster story, but it had some of the most interesting concepts I've ever read. Looking for more of that, even if it is extremely hard to read.

have you read {{the three-body problem by Liu cixin}}? I found the concepts explored very interesting but kinda difficult to get through.
