Right now I’m studying for the MCAT (Medical College Admissions Test) and the reading section (CARS) is widely considered to be the hardest part. I don’t read much, but I think if I read a little in my free time it could help me to dissect the passages, which come in a wide variety of topics. I know I will be able to read around 30 minutes each night before bed, so I’m looking for suggestions.
Ideally, I would want a short, medium difficulty read that would help me practice my analysis skills but also something enjoyable. I think philosophy would be great because it’s fairly dense and involves some analysis. I would also be interested in nonfiction or classical literature. Thanks!
