Basic premise: a group have a mission, it’s war time.
Looking for really good novels, preferably where a lot of Nazis meet a violent end but I’ll consider that a bonus.
Looking more for soldiers/commandos/resistance rather than aircraft or ships or something.
Can be straight up or involve monsters, supernatural, etc.
Preferably a step above the Alistair MacLean boys own adventure style, perhaps a bit more modern.
