I am in the mood to start out the New Year with books dealing with World War 2. (Fiction, because I already have some massive tombs in Non-Fiction to read through first, Hahaha) It can be about the Western Front, The Eastern Front or Pacific or whatever. No real preference there, as I am interested in all of it. It can be about fighting in the war itself, or characters living through it as a background. I like all kind of stories, Romance, Mysteries, Historical Fiction even Alternative History is fine ( I liked Philip K. Dick's The Man in the High Castle)
Thank You all for your time, and Happy New Year!

All the Light We Cannot See, Anthony Doerr
The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
I do highly recommend All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr but since it was already suggested, I recommend Salt to the Sea by Ruta Sepetys!
It tells four different POVs of people who all end up on the MV Wilhelm Gustloff.
