I think a consequence of having so much choice in the modern age of reading, is the amount of great material.
The last bad book I read was Daisy’s Run. It is the only book in my life that I’ve given 1 star. And that was a long time ago.
I don’t really remember what a bad book feels like and as a consequence I feel it impacts my enjoyment of the well written stuff. As one must starve to appreciate food, and experience lows to appreciate the highs, what are some of the worst books you have read? Preferably on the shorter side.
