There are a lot of things about MHA that I like. The insane superpowers that nearly everyone has, the main character having one that hurts him so he needs to plan its uses carefully, the sort of coming of age aspect and camaraderie between characters. What's a book sort of like that?

renegades trilogy by marissa meyer (almost everyone has superpowers / are manifested, galton city = gotham city, themes: revenge + justice)
reckoners series by brandon sanderson (random ppl get superpowers, corruptive powers, themes are also revenge and justice)
Super Powereds by Drew Hayes. Though in this one they are in University; and the people with uncontrolled powers are not necessarily looked down on; but are not considered on the same level as supers (there is a nuance there but it is potential spoilers). HIGHLY recommended! I have the audiobook versions and they are amazing.
Definitely check out the Scholomance series by Naomi Novik!
If you don’t mind reading online, read Worm.
It’s an absolutely brutal deconstruction of every superhero trope ever.
If you want something more on the nose, try Super Supportive.
