I'm 26/f if it matters. I have (diagnosed) adhd and I love reading but I struggle to stay focused so short chapters and stand alones are golden for me.
I prefer fiction, or at least story style books. Fantasy, romance, mystery, thriller (but not horror) and even fanfic!
Don't love things like biographies and stuff. My really only dislike is horror (love movies, I just can't get into reading about it).
Here are a few I enjoyed last year if it helps:
-The Spellshop
-Pumpkin Spice Café (Dream Harbor Series)
-The Perfect Child (and sequel A Welcome Reunion)
-I Have No Secrets
-Manacled (loooooooved just took me ages)
