Dystopian mysteries a la Severance?

I LOVE Apple TVs series Severance. Does anyone have recommendations for a book with a similar vibe? Mystery, near-future dystopia, etc?

When I was a teen I read The Bar Code Tattoo which I remember really enjoying, and that probably is pretty close to what I’d be looking for. But I definitely want a really well written adult novel; I’m not really one for easy fast fiction reads.

Basically I’m thinking Brave New World but highly descriptive and world-building.
