Hi, after watching some tv series and documentaries, would love to read something more indepth, either some member autobiography or nice books that really well portray the gangs

Be it Crips, Bloods, Latin Kings….watever, anything interesting might be a good addition to my collection of books. Most interested in autobiographies that are really well written and shows the everyday life in a gang.

Thank you guys, havent post here for a while….so wish You all Happy New Year!

It’s a bit older than your brief, but you could try The Gangs of New York by Herbert Asbury. My understanding is that the book is non-fiction but it’s potentially inaccurate in some of its information. Still worth a read though.

Highly recommend anything by Don Winslow. He does a great job portraying cartels and gangs and I believe he did a lot of interviews and in depth research to create these novels (if I remember correctly).

      The Force

      Power of Dog Series

      City on Fire
