Hi folks, I was recently broken up with (just 2 days ago), and it’s entirely my fault. I’m looking for book recommendations to help me process this loss.
A lot of the books I’ve come across are geared toward people whose exes were toxic or who were victims of unhealthy relationships. But in my case, I was the one who hurt my partner. He was incredibly supportive and patient, but due to my own declining mental health and other personal issues, I crossed a line that he couldn’t overlook.
I’m in therapy, but I’d like to find a book that addresses making peace with the fact that I lost someone amazing due to my own mistakes. I’m carrying a lot of guilt and regret, and I’d appreciate any suggestions for books that can guide me through this journey of reflection and healing.
Thank you..
